August was a busy month and I didn’t get much gaming in. There were a few memorable titles however.

Simple, fun, memorable, $1!!!! If you have an Xbox360 and you don’t own this game you are dead to me. This could very well be the catalyst that turns the Xbox360 Indie Marketplace into a viable distribution channel for micro-developers.

Shadow Complex
I am a huge Super Metroid fan so this was a no brainer. I’m only a couple of hours in but I can’t wait to spend more time with this game. They weren’t kidding when they said they were aiming to iterate on the “MetroidVania” game formula. Mission accomplished. Great game.
