Last Friday I picked up my new Riedell 265 skates complete with Radar Shadow wheels and Kwik 7 bearings. I chose a higher-end skate knowing if I was going to invest the time to learn skating properly, I should invest equally in the gear. Plus, don’t I deserve the best? I opted for softer wheels since most of my practicing would be outdoors.
RollerGirl.ca is just an amazing store. The service they provided via email to ensure I was ordering the right gear was incredible. (I ordered the Fresh Meat Package – Riedell 265 with upgraded wheels.) A huge shout out to Lisa and Chelsea for their help!
With fresh gear in hand, it was time to start learning how to skate!
