I treated myself to a new DSLR today. I’ve been drooling over the Canon T2i since the reviews basically said it was a cheapo 7D. It is a mark improvement over my Pentax K-m for still photos with a far superior ISO range and much higher megapixel count. But the big selling point was the video modes. I now have a potent tool for playing with HD video.
I uploaded a few test photos I took while playing tonight.

Speaking of toys! I’m loving the Plastic Bullet app for the iPhone. I never really got into the whole taking photos with my phone “thing”. But this app is just too much fun. It simulates the random weirdness you get from an old-school toy camera.
